More "California Love"

How can people be so focused on a war in another country when we have so much war going on in our own? Everyday gang members fight for power, money, drugs and their lives. In 2001 53% of the homicides were gang related violence. These people don't know each other.... for all they know they could be related. Their minds are not on anything but killing and not being killed. These gangs reach out to anyone in their community because they want to be the most powerful. These gangs reach out to kids as young as 12!!!!! Can you imagine being in sixth grade and being scared for your life because kids around are in gangs and doing drugs? Gang violence not only affects the gang members but also the children of the members and the community which they live in. These parents are putting their children who they "love" in danger everyday. If they died who would be there to support them feed them grow up with them? Gangs are affecting the communities because they are putting drugs and weapons into the hands of minors. With so many drugs and weapons on the streets how are you going to keep it out of the hands of minors?

  2. i agree, i think one reason that America is in this economic crisis is because we feel obligated to reach out to other countries. Our armed forces are way too spread out in an effort to help others. Also, it doesn't seem to be working because everyone still hates us!
