The FCC

According to the first constitutional amendment, Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech. But how can the Federal Communications Commission fine public television for profanity...? It doesnt really make sense to me... it specifically states they can make any laws limiting your freedom of speech. I understand some words may be "inappropriate" but do you honestly think kids wont here these words sooner or later? bad words arent bad until we, as humans, say they are bad. Think of the word Dick.... as in detective. Its been in our language since the early 1900's but now when some one says that word it is used negatively. we alter the words on our own they were proble never supposed to mean what they do now. and for the fcc.... do something ppl actually care about bc with our generation curse words will just become commons words.
