So for those who don't know what the swine flu refers to influenza caused by any strain of the influenza virus endemic in pigs (swine). Swine flu is common in swine and rare in humans. People who work with swine, especially people with intense exposures, are at risk of catching swine influenza if the swine carry a strain able to infect humans. However, these strains rarely are able to pass from human to human. Rarely, SIV mutates into a form able to pass easily from human to human. The strain responsible for the 2009 swine flu outbreak is believed to have undergone such a mutation.
This in my opinion is ridiculous... i went to my local Costco the other day and i saw a lady wearing a mask i thought to myself is that really affective? so i researched it... "Mexico has handed out millions of facial coverings, U.S. officials have held off, saying there is little evidence of their effectiveness. Some doctors warn they might even be harmful, causing people to take risks, like venturing into crowds or neglecting to wash hands, in the mistaken belief that the mask protects them."
Why wear the mask if its not going to help it makes no sense to me and it just seems like the african killer bees or even SARS.... what ever happened to SARS? i havent heard anyting since around 2003... i think this swine flu is going to die out as quick as SARS
