Box Office failures
i am confused.... i thought we were in an economic ressesion? it seems to me the only thing not being affected greatly are the movies!!! how can people afford to go to the movies but not pay their morgages? The new xmen movie alone has made 87 million on the opening weekend! how are people able to do this? dont get me wrong i love the movies butttt my parents dont pay for me to go the movies (or at least they dont think they do) how can this be happening and how can studios still afford to pay their actors!!!!

The movies are like a getaway for some people. They have these tough lives and troubles with the economy. Sometimes they need a break, and 9 bucks on a movie that they have been waiting for forever isn't going to prevent them from paying their next bill, while it may help lower their stress.
